Centuries of Craftsmanship
Royal Copenhagen porcelain has been proudly manufactured since 1775.
It is made with a deep respect for tradition and the time-honored
principles of craftsmanship.
The process of creating these masterpieces entails much more than
meets the eye. While the porcelain patterns may look simple, the decoration
of a single plate from the Blue Fluted dinner service, for example,
requires 1,197 brush strokes.
We have chosen Royal Copenahagen and Flora Danica as our principal
supplier of tableware. In 2004, Flora Danica will reproduce a special
caviar container from the original Flora Danica service.

BALIK is known for its innovative spirit. This has been proven
during the last 20/25 years of our company history.
Today, we give you the answer to this permanent challenge: A
new, or even revolutionary carving set for slicing the three
BALIK products.
We had to comply with higt standard requirements. The board
is scratchproof and irreprochable as to hygiene. The materials
are precious, esthetical an ageless. The dimensions as well
as the weight of this carving set are moderate and it can easily
be handled. The design unites old and new fashion and is signed
by a highly qualified professional: Georg Fontana(CH).
It is made of Swiss oak wood, Quercus robur. The sparkling stone
is a Norwegian Larkivit. Another particular and parctical aspect
of this board is the fact that it can be folded-up in a very
simple way. Thus, an innovative step has been accomplished.
