Conditions of sale and delivery

ORDERS

You can place your orders by telephone, using our free order number
+41 (0) 800 / 837 560, by post using the enclosed order card, by fax using
number +41 (0) 71 / 375 60 75, by e-mail with info@balik.ch, or via our Internet shop at www.balik.com. We are pleased to advise you personally, and give you additional information over the phone from Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Our answering service is connected outside these times. These are the particulars we require from you.

DELIVERY

Delivery is made within 24 - 48 hours throughout Switzerland (except for public holidays and weekends) if the order is received by 4.00 p.m. Our parcels are always dispatched by express post in special packaging containing cooling elements, because our products are perishable. Please place the goods in a refrigerator immediately on receipt. Delivery is made by 12.00 noon on the agreed delivery date. You bear the costs of express postage and we pay for the packaging.

PRICES

Our prices are net without any deductions, and inclusive of value-added tax. We can only quote provisional prices for consignments destined for abroad, on account of the differences concerning forwarding charges and value-added tax. All earlier prices cease to apply on publication of this catalogue or price list. Our catalogue / price lists remain valid for one year, on account of which as an exceptional measure, we have to reserve the right to make price adjustments in the event of a change in our purchase terms. We shall notify you of this before processing your order, if such a case arises. BALIK attaches great importance to supplying only the best quality. Therefore, it may occur that we do not hold a particular item in stock at the delivery date desired by you. In this case, we shall substitute this item with another of at least the equivalent standard, without prior notice and at no extra expense for you.

DATA PROTECTION

For processing your order, we store your address and other data relating to the order. We guaranty protection of your personal particulars, according to the provisions of the international data protection law. We assure you that we shall not pass details of your address and that of the recipient of gifts, to a third party.

HOW YOU MAY PAY

You can pay by credit card issued by American Express, MasterCard or VISA. Please notify us of your credit card number and the expiry date. Naturally, we shall only charge you on dispatch of your order. We normally only deliver goods to new customers of a value above CHF 300.00 against payment in advance. We do however also reserve the right to require payment in advance in other cases. The goods delivered remain in the legal ownership of our company until payment is made in full.

FURTHER CONDITIONS OF DELIVERY

All our offers are subject to change without notice. Invoicing is made according to the actual quantity delivered where the items are priced in kilograms or grams. We can only acknowledge any possible complaints concerning the goods within 24 hours following receipt of them, in view of the fact that our products are perishable. Please keep the queried product in safe custody for an analysis to be carried out by us. We expect that goods are returned in the same condition as they were on purchase. Please do not forget to return the package to us as quickly as possible by express post. Any credit balance arising from the return will be settled by us without delay, unless you wish to use it for a further order. These general sales conditions may not be cancelled by our customers by terms stipulated on their part. The orders for delivery placed with us are in all cases subject to the law of Switzerland, and Flawil is deemed to be agreed as the place of jurisdiction.
